Terms & Conditions
These terms describe what us+ promises to you, what you promise to us, and what happens if something goes wrong. They are written in plain English on purpose. If a section is unclear, email us at hello@tesserly.dev.
By installing or using the us+ app or visiting the website, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. Who can use us+
- You must be at least 13 years old (or older where local law requires).
- You are responsible for the security of your account and login credentials.
- One person per account. Don't share accounts.
2. Your account
- You sign in with email or a social provider (Apple, Google).
- You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings. Deletion is final.
- If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, email us immediately.
3. How the service works
us+ lets you create habits, track check-ins, and pair specific habits with a friend so both of you can see each other's progress on that habit. You can also write personal notes attached to a habit — these notes are private to you and are not shown to your paired friend.
The service is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans, we will give clear notice and update these terms.
4. Your content
You own the habits, notes, check-ins, and GIF reactions you create. By using the service you grant us+ a limited license to store and display that content as needed to run the app — for example, syncing across your devices, or showing your check-in on a shared habit to the friend you paired with.
This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
5. Things you may not do
You agree not to:
- Use the service to harass, threaten, or abuse another user (including a paired friend).
- Use GIF reactions to send sexual, hateful, or illegal content.
- Attempt to access another user's data without their permission.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service.
- Use the service in violation of any applicable law.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. In serious cases we may report the activity to authorities.
6. Pair (duo habit) feature
When you pair a habit with a friend, you accept that they will see your check-ins, streak, and reactions on that specific habit. You can unpair at any time from the habit's settings. Unpairing removes the friend's access to that habit going forward but does not delete what they have already seen.
Your other habits, notes, and personal data remain private regardless of pairing.
7. Third-party content (Klipy GIFs)
GIFs in the app come from Klipy. us+ does not host or moderate the GIF library. If you encounter offensive content from Klipy, you can report it to them, and you may report individual reactions sent to you within the app — we will review and remove pairings or accounts as needed.
8. Service availability
We work to keep the service running, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. We may make changes to the app, retire features, or pause access for maintenance. For major changes we'll give notice in the app or by email.
9. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." us+ is a habit-tracking tool — it is not a medical, mental-health, or fitness service. We don't promise that using the app will achieve any specific outcome.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, us+, its developers, and its contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. If a court holds us liable despite this, our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.
11. Termination
You can stop using the service at any time by deleting your account. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if we shut the service down. If we close the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and an option to export your data.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app and reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where us+ is operated. Disputes will first be addressed by good-faith communication; if not resolved, they will be handled in the appropriate local courts.
14. Contact
